Pulp and paper

Scanning electron microscopy reveals the complex fibre network and surface morphology of handcrafted paper. Using low- and high-vacuum SEM imaging combined with EDS, fibre structure, porosity, and elemental composition are analyzed to better understand material quality and manufacturing characteristics.
